Seersite’s Aug. 6 Launch Claims to Fix Primary Research. Proof Is Pending

Seersite launched an institutional primary-research platform on August 6, 2026, positioning itself as a challenger to project-by-project expert-network workflows, per Integrity Research's Michael Mayhew — but the efficiency claims are…

What’s independently established: Seersite announced a platform on August 6, 2026, and Integrity Research covered the launch on August 11. What’s a claim, not a fact: that the platform makes primary research “faster, more flexible and less dependent” on high-touch project work. That’s a positioning statement from the company, filtered through a launch write-up, not a benchmark result — and buy-side data teams should treat it accordingly until someone runs a bake-off.

Here’s the tension worth flagging: this isn’t a greenfield category. AlphaSense already runs Channel Checks — AI-led interviews with validated experts — layered on top of a network AlphaSense says covers more than 280,000 expert-call transcripts, plus 1,700-plus broker sources and 950,000-plus M&A transactions. If Seersite is attacking the same high-touch, per-project expert-network model that legacy providers built their pricing around, the honest question isn’t whether AI can speed up scheduling and synthesis — AlphaSense’s own materials suggest it already can — it’s whether Seersite’s network depth, expert vetting, and transcript-level auditability can match an incumbent that’s spent years building exactly that moat.

The only fact independently established here is that Seersite announced something on August 6, 2026; whether that something rewires primary research or just repackages it is a claim, not a data point.

What would actually validate the pitch: named institutional clients using it in production, published pricing or seat economics versus expert-network incumbents, expert-panel size and vetting methodology, and third-party usage data rather than a launch press cycle. Until then, this belongs in the trial-it-yourself bucket — sourcing teams should ask Seersite for a side-by-side comparison against their current expert-network spend before touching budget.

On August 6, 2026 Seersite announced the launch of a new investment research platform designed specifically for institutional investors, positioning the company as an emerging challenger to how primary research is traditionally conducted.
