Cloudflare is pushing further into infrastructure that used to belong to Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud-native warehouses, folding ingest, storage, and query into its existing network. For a company that built its business on caching and routing traffic, owning the data layer too is a bet that customers will pay to keep analytics workloads where the traffic already lives rather than shipping it elsewhere.

The pitch will be convenience and reduced egress costs; the real test is whether enterprises trust Cloudflare as a system of record, not just a pipe.
